All this reminds me that I need to find a new oil cap! But perhaps I've stumbled upon something - replacing your oil cap with a wedged-in dirty rag adds 5mpg.

Glad to hear that you made it home okay despite the weight-reduction services offered by our lovely 198km course. Hope that the fixes aren't too time and resource consuming. At the border I'm sure the doggy was looking for contraband rhubarb. They got tipped off by Wonderboy blatantly crossing with a pile of it in the front seat.
