They look pretty new, so I guess it will be a while until you can replace them with something narrower and with less RR? Will you be doing smooth wheel covers? Mcrews has a thread on clear ones.

When you build the solid version, you can make attachment points for an extension. The permanent shorter version would be for city driving, the extension would be added for longer trips.
