Hey there.
Im assuming your van is a 3.0L and 3spd auto?
I have a 1990 that started as the 2.5/5spd non turbo. It averaged 27 doing mostly 75mph highway, and got 33 if i kept to 55 mph. I have since put a turbo on it and am now planning to completely ruin the mpg with a roots-supercharged 3.0 swap. Actually, i am hoping to be able to mod it back to where it started and avg 27mpg with a lot more power.
I had a 96 3.0/3spd van that seemed to get 25mpg stock.. until i figured out the electronic odometer was randomly adding miles when you turned the key on!
Getting 27-30 from a 3.0/auto van is impressive. Keep up the good work. And if you get serious about your turbo plans, head over to Turbo-Mopar.com for those questions.
Oops, just read you got rid of the van! Well, ill leave this here for any other old dodge van people. I DD a 50mpg car with no mods now so i cant lay blame for moving away from the van!
