your brain can determine when best to cut the motor better than any ECM could.


(kill switch on the left, starter on the right)

It becomes 2nd nature very quickly

No regen, but I can bump start in 5th at 5mph once the engine is warmed up
I also deleted the alternator. Original starter, but deepcycle batteries, and a 15W solar panel (sits on the dash while driving, on the roof when parked) and a back up 120v charger in case I need to drive a number of hours during a rainy week.
