42 years and 30k miles is quite something - was it a farm vehicle?
There are a few Land Rovers on the forum - not an easy platform to get fantastic economy, but it never hurts to try your best.

PS - I have relatives who live in your neck of the woods - NOTL - very nice part of the province.
