I thought about adding a layer of insulation to the wheel wells of the TSX since I get so much road noise (even more running 40psi tires). What I'd really like to add is active noise reduction. I would think it would be easy since I already have speakers, but so far I haven't seen anyone that has done it.

I'm not willing to delete a thing on my TSX, but I have thought of an alternator cuttoff switch and a LiIon battery.

I put on an under-driven aluminum pulley which eliminated about 10lbs. The thing is, I get pretty much the same mpg no matter how much weight I have because I'm so efficient at coasting and staying off of the brake. Weight reduction only increases fun factor for me (acceleration speed).

I'm surprised you are ok being in a tin can since you enjoy your music. Noisy cars are a pet peeve of mine because it forces me to turn the music up louder to hear it, and then I have to yell to talk to passengers or people on the phone.
