I'm surprised you are ok being in a tin can since you enjoy your music. Noisy cars are a pet peeve of mine because it forces me to turn the music up louder to hear it, and then I have to yell to talk to passengers or people on the phone.

This is way off subject of the thread. But oh well, I'm going for it!
Truthfully, I'm not okay with being in a tin can. I enjoy music, and lots of subwoofer thudding, enough to pay for it every time I go somewhere. But until I find a light weight alternative, I'm stuck with it. Pick your battles, in a sense. MY pet peeve is to not bother OTHER people with my music. I have probably 8 sheets of "Hushmat" in various places through out the inner body to help keep the "noise" in, and panels from rattling. I've grabbed a few sheets of factory door insulating material. Very light weight. I'll be adding that sometime.
My RAV came with a sprayed on sound barrier that completely covers the underside as well as the wheel wells. Probably weighs a lot! So I don't know what it's called or where to get it, but I have done some research on sound deadening material and have a few links that might help in your search.

And lastly the link to my RAV forum where I was asking questions. It's a pretty short thread.

Hopefully this will give you some ideas.
