Team Standings, 7/7/12 vs. 7/14/12:
Last weekend I saved a "snap" of the standings for future comparison. Team Metro, Team Honda, and Team Audi Group have been scoring very close in the competition recently. Metro would be way out ahead but one of their three cars is an automatic, so is getting about 38 mpg instead of 60-ish. He's planning some mods though...
Just looking at these three teams, here's how the standings shifted over the week.
7/7/12
Team Metro: 52.26 mpg, 41.43% over EPA, 3 members
Team Honda:50.65 mpg, 50.64 % over EPA, 25 members
Team VW Group: 50.62, 48.44 % over EPA, 10 members
7/14/12
Team Metro: 52.80 mpg, 42.76% over EPA, 3 members
Team VW Group: 52.02, 41.44 % over EPA, 12 members
Team Honda: 51.93 mpg, 50.49 % over EPA, 26 members
All three teams improved their scores over the week, but Team Honda didn't improve as much as the other two, so dropped behind VW Group in the standings.
Team Honda welcomed some new members this week, including 1carnut and sheepdog 44. If we have other new members that I didn't find in my search, we're glad to have you too! I plan to get a snap of team Honda's individual team member standings regularly to track additions and dropoffs. We did lose one (low-mpg) member this week, due to no fillups in the past 90 days.
