2000mc...I thought the first number (205,215,etc.) was the width and the second number (65,70,75,etc.) was the sidewall height (profile?). If a 205/70R/15 is a .4% smaller than my 14's then wouldn't a 215/70R/15 also be a .4% smaller and a 205(or 215)/75R/15 be larger? Also I can't imagine a 15" tire in the same profile (70R) being smaller than a 14" tire with the same profile. Or am I just confused as usual?
