Sorry for the delay in posting, I have been ridiculously busy this last few days. it seems like everything is happening at once.
I made it home fine, though my car did not. turns out I need a new fuel pump, and it will cost $500 to fix. Needless to say I am now in the market for a newer (read less than 150000mi) vehicle. the bike is currently my only option for transportation.
on the upside, I got 130mpg on the ride home!! took the rural routes, and cruised along at or above 55mph. I enjoy this type of riding better than racing along on the freeway anyway.
I will work on getting a few pics up when I get home from work tonight.
