2011 Ford Edge limited 30+mpg

Just helped my 24 yr old daughter purchase a 2011 Ford Edge Limited (FWD)w/3.5Liter V6 & 18 inch rims w/245/60/18 tires.
I just ran a test run on 183 in Austin at Duval st. Ran up and down about 10 miles total. Ran cruise at 60mph w/ a/c on auto at 72 on a 90 degree day. Had just drivin from purchasing it 169 miles away.
I got 32mpg on the dash gauge. This included exiting the freeway, make a u under the brdge and entering the freeway.
The edge sits high (crossover) and I have not checked the psi but plan to increase it.

She had been driving a 2007 Kia Sportage EX FWD w/ V6. The best I had gotten on the freeway was 27+mpg.

Given the larger size and additional weight, this was a pleasant surprise.
Just goes to show "adusting the nut behind the wheel" is half the battle!!
