Stumbled across your thread while I was searching the web for more generalized belly pan info to apply to my '97 Probe GTS.
Absolutely love your car. More of a 2nd Gen guy myself, only ever had one 1st Gen ('89 GT). But I actually like your car more than the look of any other 1st Gen I've ever seen (stock or modified)! Your paint schemes are great lol!
Oh, and I'm stealing your fixed position headlights /bumper cutout idea. :P I had been going the usual route of trying to shoehorn headlights into the small vertical area (when closed) of the stock location. The method pictured in your sketch makes much more sense. My only wonder is how much it will limit lighting to the sides near the car (easily rectified with secondary driving lights installed in the bumper tho).
