So, I got my Elantra 2002 since last december. Discovered the site a few months ago and decided I should do something about my FE!
So fist thing I did was change the clutch, even though the car only had 60k miles, the clutch was finished! That brought me FE back under 10l/100km (or above 23mpg)
Other mods so far :
- oil catch can
- removed the Thule roof rack
- WAI
- spare tire removal (weight reduction ... the thing was rusted in place and leaking)
- tire wall presure
On my to do list is :
- convert to LED bulbs
- 35w HID (already have the kit with the projectors)
- ... not sure what next!
