As with energy, nothing in life is free. VA doesn't have any money, it only has other people's money. I don't want to forcefully take the money of strangers just to dispose of my corpse. I certainly don't want the last thing my body does to suckle at the gov't teat.

Ideally, family or friends would fire up the backhoe for 5min and scrape out a hole. With the money I saved by not having a funeral, I will throw a party for everyone that cared to show up.

How is that for OT?
