project update

I finished the 'engineering' portion of the passenger side skirt last night.I added a small lead fairing to blend the air onto the outer surface of the skirt from ahead.Without the fairing, the air could get under the skirt, and at 65 mph I could hear it dancing around a bit.
This morning's commute demonstrated 'calm' with respect to the former 'dancing.'
I have 17.25-hours into this first unit.Tonight I'll Scotch-Brite it,do the self-etching primer,then topcoat it 2-hours after the primer goes on.
She's all aluminum with the exception of the roller unit itself, a bolt and nylock nut which arrests inward motion, and the tensioning spring.
