There must be something wrong with your data for the Yamaha WR250.
I see not one single entry posting higher than 70 mpgUS. Did you forget to change those bikes from gallons UK or something? I would call their median average on the bell curve more like 61 and 64 mpgUS. And as a highway commuter, they will be very much more shaky and nervous feeling in wind than the CBR250R and cost 30% more. They are a very nice off road dual sport though for those that ride a lot of dirt.
