um, where'd you get that the northstar is variable displacement from?
the northstar was never variable displacement(unless you classify the emergency measures so you can get off the highway if you run out of coolent, variable displacement) and most of them don't have vvt either.
now the lsx series and the hemi do have variable displacement(well some of them do)
