Is that because, being throttle body injection (TBI), it fires once for every cylinder, rather than the typical MPGuino installation where you tap just one of the injector wires in a multi-port injection arrangment? If so, you should be able to calibrate the MPGuino and apply a correction factor to make it work with TBI.
