The 92 Model Suburban was a transitional year with the transmissions. To bad it doesn't have an earlier 700R4. Has the electronically controlled 4L60E or the 4L80E. Not sure if in these trucks if the engine gets info from the trans via the computer. Also, have you checked your fuel pressure or changed the filter? Perhaps swap out the TBI from another? Checked for vacuum leaks with a spray bottle or carb cleaner. Such as around the manifold or gaskets.
