I personally think that price is also a large factor in aftermarket fairing sales. I researched what was available before building my own fairing, and came to the conclusion that the only currently available fairings were more cost than they were worth, since they are mostly designed for land speed racing. they don't even come close to meeting the requirements for a competition like the Vetter Challenge, and would not be very practical for everyday use. Craig's goal is to create a generation of truly useful high MPG machines, and I agree with him that to date this is not commercially available. Once Craig begins selling his kit, we will have one option. My hope is to put a second option on the table, but this is still a dream in the works for now. it looks like this year I should focus on finishing my prototype, and we'll see what happens after.
