Why bother with us in the first place.
Your overpowered Nissan truck gets 12.5 MPG. My Fiesta does 45 MPG, my bike is just below 92, and my 41 year old bike still gets 4 times the mileage of your truck.
Your conclusion about two different engines needing the same amount of fuel to do the same amount of work is fallacious, and the best engine in the world today is at 56% thermal efficiency.
Not much of a group personality from my observation. You certainly do not need all of us other members with our likewise overinflated egos, unless I misread you intentions (probably not).

In the final analysis, I always rely on my own judgement, and take full responsibility for my decisions. That doesn't mean I don't listen to the viewpoint of others. As I said, I am interested in hard data, and if it is something I am interested in, I may perform my own corroborative experiments. That is the mantra of the scientific method - independent corroboration.
I have been involved with a lot of studies. And I will tell you now that many so called "studies" are nothing more than agenda-driven drivel - bought and paid for by some group with a predetermined agenda, and the so called study results not supported by the data presented.
You should not feel insulted because I might want to do some experimenting on my own. In fact, if you are on the level, you should welcome it.
