Actually, LB is not legal in Cali due to emissions regs against the increased NOX levels. Cali HXs don't go into LB. So you are smart to desire the 49 state HX.

My research when I was interested in this question suggested P2N-A22 was the 49-state MT HX code for the 1996-2000 model. I hope that helps.
