My Explorer states 32 PSI on the sticker, I pump my tires up to 35 and don't let them get below 30 PSI unless I am off-roading (it's handy having a high output electric pump along )

At 40 PSI the explorer starts to feel bouncy and unsafe on gravel and other rough surfaces as well as wearing faster in the rear and seems to be more susceptible to being punctured by the crushed limestone they put on northern roads.

Sometimes the sticker is there for a reason.

I also blast water out of lines though I am not convinced it makes one iota of difference as I have never had tires last more than 2 years anyway.
