4-5 mpg would be an aditional 25-30% improvement? I dont know if that would happen, not saying I wouldn't take it.
It would be easy to go down to the black trim on the body but below that the body curves under on the rear.on the front I might just fill the gap, thinking about the brushes you see on some semis.
