I agree. I painted some stuff on my car using regular ol' waterbased acrylic art paint . It's been there for around a year and a half now. No signs of fading or degradation .
The car only gets a bath when it rains, but I was still surprised at the durability of what i thought would wash away in a matter of days.
The best part is that it's also non toxic and cheap to boot.
