I agree but the base models get 200+mi per charge, more than a drive around town.

200 might happen from a hyper miler, bit With the Roadster, their estimates were, allegedly, grossly over estimated.
Allegedly, those fast recharge stations reduce the longevity of the battery. But, science with those batteries is quickly improving.
