No towing is in the manual. But you can buy a hitch if you want it..
I was thinking of a class 3 hitch, so it will take our bike-rack, and small cargo hauling tray.
I'm pretty sure my Escape isn't rated for a class 3, but I didn't install it for pulling heavy boats..

I looked up the bird-bombed red car study (from the UK) and I'm not sure that I believe it.
But, here in MA, during the years 1775–1783, wearing a Red coat was considered to be very hazardous.
