Cheap and simple option - Black correx (coropast here in the UK) - A3 sheets are on ebay for a few pounds. Then cable ties - the long ones or double them up and wrap them inside the grill, maybe 2 or 3 on each side.

That way you can experiment and remove (servicing - dealers don't like them) or adjust them easily (scissors).

If you get them in black then won't show up at all too.

Did this with my Fabia and it lasted a whole winter (snow included) in one piece. My Aygo has the upper nostrils and 85% of my lower grill blocked this way too.
