Today, in the USA; I'd say you could easily find 50 Yugo's before you'd come close to finding a Simca.

Looks somewhat similiar to its comtemporary Fiat's.

When I was a kid, my Mother became a school teacher, and was looking for a good used car to replace her '47 Ford. She considered a mid 50's Fiat that a school band teacher offered, but instead thankfully ended up w a '56 VW bug which of course was much more practical.

It was bronze color with a black mini sunroof, and olive interior. Pretty cool!
Sunroof was literal vinyl like manual pull back. I'm surprised it never leaked
in Oregon's rainy weather!

Ha! Nice to see one of these again. In Europe they were known as Simca 1100. They were produced by the millions but all ended up on the junkyard as they were notorious rustbuckets. I remember sitting in the back of one as a child, they were very comfortable. The engine made this typical takataka sound as the distribution was kind of prone to wear. Other than that they were mechanically very sound though.
