i remembered it had a ford engine and i'd seen one in an episode of topgear a while back, of course when i viewed the image the couldnt help but notice the name of the pic

Here's one. I saw it in person this weekend, and it's every bit as beautiful in real life.

Looks somewhat similiar to its comtemporary Fiat's.

Ha! Nice to see one of these again. In Europe they were known as Simca 1100. They were produced by the millions but all ended up on the junkyard as they were notorious rustbuckets. I remember sitting in the back of one as a child, they were very comfortable. The engine made this typical takataka sound as the distribution was kind of prone to wear. Other than that they were mechanically very sound though.
