I'll take max traction over fuel economy anyday!
I've had the same thing happen, 5mph and they are sliding side ways and I want to have the traction to get out of their way!
I also don't like having to push my car to get it out of a parking spot.
the Michelin X-Ice snow tires wear really well, figure I have about 40,000 miles on my current set and like I said, the X-Ice didn't cause a MPG hit and are pretty quite, so what's the draw back?
