I'm not sure on Sparks, but when I was looking at compacts back in early 2011, what I was finding was the used ones with 30k miles that were 2 or 3 years old were selling for MORE than the new ones ... that's how I ended up with a new car.
I wouldn't be surprised if they were selling for $14k in 2 years with 50k miles on them.
I'd like to see them selling for $5k in a few years. I wouldn't mind getting one as a 3rd car to commute to work / beat around the city in
