Hi,

I have a question regarding the mounting of the flowsensor. The installation manual says it should be mounted vertically with the flow going up.
I don’t have much place under the hood and if I mount it that way, the hoses and the pear pump make some steep angles. They have to go from a horizontal position to a vertical position in a short length. It also makes appear some cracks at the ends of the pear (made of rubber) if they are slightly folded (might lead to air getting in the line). So the most in-line it is, the better.
My question is, will it really harm reliability if I mount it horizontally ?
Does anybody have tested the 2 different positions ?
