That one is from the 1996-1999 generation, lower than its immediate predecessor, but it's interesting to note that the earliest generation of Taurus had the lowest cD and the most recent generation has not only the highest cD but also the most frontal area...

I don't have any negative feelings toward the Taurus, it's always seemed like a stout utility sedan - and I'd own any generation including the bubbly ones if I was shopping for an inexpensive used car, just seems weird to see them going backwards on aero.
