Being fair, 0.30 for the "ugly" one was a step forward from the previous generation's 0.32, and 0.30 is CRX territory. The 0.29 quoted for the first generation is as good as a first generation Prius, very nearly Volt territory - funny when you consider the first generation Taurus wasn't "oddly shaped" really and came out in 1986
