Berta's engine is old fashion diesel but controlled with ECU and Bosh VE injection pump. There is an cut off valve on the pump housing so I just need to cut the wire and place a switch there. That's very easy and efficient way to do that.

With your gasser you can go for injector or crankshaft/camshaft position sensor cut off. There are many ways to deal with the issue.
