I worked on the fender liner/mudflap area last night.
I ended up throwing a piece right around the location of the oem mudflap, and lined it up with my attachment angle. It was about 6" tall and as wide as it could fit. One screw and a snug fit is all it is. no tape. Still nothing on the sides like COcyclist posted with his flashing on the fender liner, but I am confident the snow won't go side ways to much.
