My example is more lighthearted. I offered a ride done the block, in my new 1776/5-speed Type III notchback, to my housemate.
At the stop sign I needed to U-turn in the intersection. I romped on it and 3/4 the way around it was pointed right at a 2' ditch and he had both hands on the dashboard. I backed off and that threw the tail out. All I had to do was go opposite lock to point it back down the street. LOL
