Yes. But the big question is "how much worse?"
Remember: anything electric in a conventional car is powered by fuel burned in the engine: e.g. lights, heater fan, electric window defroster, power for the ECU, sound system. The higher the electric load, the more fuel needs to be burned to support it.
So yes, blasting a stereo consumes more fuel than not blasting a stereo. But the difference is small enough you probably couldn't measure the difference.
