Guess part of that American laziness comes into play with that one! I'm an avid distance runner too and I could come up with 100 excuses not to run or cycle to the gym: too early, not enough sleep, cold, already have a second running workout planned, closing at work, work late nights so I can't wake up earlier etc etc.

That being said I do run there occasionally but prefer to drive.
