you said you had a grind in your transmission, right? if that oil is from the transmission then you might have found your problem! new seals are $9 to $15 each, depending where you get them from and the axle is easy to pull out by pulling apart the lower ball joint on the steering knuckle then with a large flat screw driver pry the axle out of the transmission, pry the seal out and tap the new one in with a mallet and block of wood, right above/behind the axle you can see the fill plug for transmission oil, fill it while the car is level until oil drips out that fill hole, again, only use Honda MTF or motor oil, never GL5 gear oil, 0W30 motor oil is what I find works best in Honda transmissions.
