Actually, when I got to the auto parts store, the one clerk was outside just finishing his cigarette-break. So he knew right away what I was at the store for.
"Sounds like a Hemi", he said of my truck, sans exhaust system.
When I test drove it AFTER the repair, it sounded to me like an import car!
I was just glad I was able to do a good/cheap/fast repair! Hey, how often do you get all three!? It's usually pick two!
Besides the exhaust, I have a
number of other issues with this truck. I'm just trying to keep it going until I can get my
"SuperTruck" Hybrid rolling!
