The coolant leak has nothing to do with idle. Trust me. My rad doesn't leak but also doesn't hold pressure and I have when hot rock steady idle out of gear just a hair above the white line 600 possibly. check your compression on all cylinders read the plugs and do a vacuum test. You could have low compression you could have a leaky injector. Instead of chasing goasts find a baseline.
