It's the fill hole, so over filling is not an easy task.
Unless it was previously filled through the VSS hole.

How close does your transmission look to the one in my pictures?

Looked right on to the pic.i got the bolt off and fluid was comin out.i stuck finger inthere and cudnt feel much below the bolt. So slowly filled it up with all i got that will work which was sae 5w-30 oil. Still making grinding noise of course.

looked all underneath look a lot of pics.radiator is leaking sumwhere on bottom im just gunna replace it.found another bolt for the iacv.took that off and rebolts it in still idling wierd.my guess is its idling wierd from the radiators loss of pressure maybe?

I looked at the pcv piping and everything seemes alright my guess is the hesitation has to be from the wires.their duralast wires and i hate duralast.i had to re-replace them a few months on previous car.im gunna get the ngk plugs and wires at some point as well.

As for the axle shaft seal and throwout bearing i think i might have a trans shop nearby replace them if he doesnt quote too bad.usually they arnt too pricey at all.

The coolant leak has nothing to do with idle. Trust me. My rad doesn't leak but also doesn't hold pressure and I have when hot rock steady idle out of gear just a hair above the white line 600 possibly. check your compression on all cylinders read the plugs and do a vacuum test. You could have low compression you could have a leaky injector. Instead of chasing goasts find a baseline.

air trapped in the block near the air bleed screw can cause idle issues tho, the air bleed screw is on the engine side of the upper radiator hose, open it up while the engine is idling, air should come out, when you get a steady dribble of coolant then close it.

Never heard of the air bleed screw before im guna definitely check it out tommorrow.the radiator for sure i am going to replace this paycheck.the cap is just warm after driving and it always is leakn a little when parked iv noticed. I cant find the source of the leak on the bottom so im going to just replace it.40$replacement i wont complain

this is the leak im looking at

The biggest thing eatn up the mpg is just when shifting and letting out of gear majority of the time the rpms stick.or rise up a little then slowly drop.my 89 crx did the same thing but i cud never get the iacv off.i replaced the wires on it with performance wires and i think the problem mostly went away.i literally sold it right after i replaced them because at low rpms it was chugging and misfiring so bad but never throwing any codes. Im getn that same chugn feeling from the vx now just lighter feeling.im wonderimg if replaceing the wires wud fix it. but iv never read plug wires causing that symptom before

Yes the rad is shot the seam between the plastic the core is bad that's usually what happens. Also put a thermostat in it.

My vote on the idle issue is the IACV. I had an idle issue with my 94 (not quite as severe as yours) and cleaning the IACV helped but did not cure the issue. I also checked vacuum and replaced the PCV to eliminate those. Finally, I swapped the IACV with another (used) one and it took care of the issue. My idle would kind of "stick" like yours is doing before settling down.

I took out the iacv and spray carb cleaner all through it already.it seemed to be a lil ok after that but started up again later.on my previous 89 crx dx there was a spare iacv with it im not sure if it is also compatible but i might be able to get ahold of it.if not ill just buy a new one later
