My wife really wants one of these for her next car. We have had 4 geo metros, and we have booth been lambasting the manufacturers for not delivering an updated geo metro, or a "prius for the us poor folks". I am following you'alls opinions closely. I am thinking of trying to steer her towards a first gen insight, but it looks like the fiesta might be a bit safer with the tougher 2012 crash test ratings? Any of you Europeans driven both? Is one noticeably quieter at higher speeds? We both appreciate quiet in a car, sometimes hard to get in an econobox.
