Woohoo! Nice work Jethro!
It is a little disappointing when someone gets "punished" by unusual circumstances on one of the laps, if it takes away from the impact of your demonstration/coaching.
But what else can we do when we're doing this in the real world? Stuff happens.
A friend of mine got a Mazda CX9 (or something - V6 automatic AWD? crossover thing) and complained about his mileage recently. He knows I've been coaching people and asked what he needed to do to make it better. "First," I said, "go buy back the Corolla 5-speed wagon you traded, you damn fool!" I think I lost him at that point.
