Ah, I forgot to air up my tires. I had just replaced another tire--one dry-rotted original is my current spare. The original spare was fine, so I had only replaced the two that blew. One of the tire guys said that they adjusted the air pressure--probably up, but possibly down.
Do you guys think that I could have made 28 MPG with 36 PSI, my rated maximum?
