After looking at a few websites, I found there are certain models of trucks (and cars) that
are favorites for EV conversion.
EV kits are already on the shelf for those easy-to-convert models, with the transmission-motor adapter plates all machined and ready to bolt on.
A buddy of mine converted a small Japanese made truck about 12 years ago and he
had to make a lot of the parts himself. The big aluminum adapter plate was handmade.
Things are getting better nowadays!
