My 2012 goal would be 32 mpg. Another, more challenging goal would be the whole year on 12 tanks (one/month). I filled up 7 times in the last 6 months.

My stretch, stretch goal is to get an average of 36 mpg (equal to the combined EPA rating of a Smart Car)--that's probably still a ways to go for me, though.
I did pretty good this year--far better than what I'd hoped.

2012 Totals:
Total Fills = 11
Total Miles = 14,637.9 miles
Total Fuel Used = 384.759 gallons
Average Mileage = 38.04 mpg
Best Tank = 1,465.2 miles on 35 gallons (47.01 mpg)
Fuel Cost per Mile = 8.55 cents/mile

2013 Goals:

Total Fills <= 10
Average Mileage >= 41 mpg
Best Tank >= 50 mpg

On a personal note, like most people I have the opposite problem as Pale. Duing 2012 I lost 85 lbs. I'd like to do at least that again in 2013 to put me closer to the "healtly" BMI range.
