Ok, made the replacement for the wimpy heat shrink plastic upper grille block. If I had used a much thicker plastic it might have held up but nothing is easily available. I went with tried and true election signs.
Once the weather warms a bit I'll paint it. Don't want to vent the basement to the outdoors in this. -17C right now going to -27C tonight!
